
KIM JESCH
Founder/Producer
Kim has recently celebrated over four decades teaching in the arts industry. During her career, she has been a performer, choreographer, adjudicator, teacher and studio owner. Growing up in a “dance family” (Audrey Meredith Dance Centres), she is a graduate of Kent State University- Teachers Training Program. She has achieved 2 teaching certifications through Dance Masters of America and Canadian Dance Teachers Association. Kim has worked with many Ontario production and theatre companies and then decided to blend her passion of dance with her love of theatre to create “Milton Youth Theatre Productions” – Milton’s 1st youth theatre company.

KATIE PREISNER
Musical Director, Vocal Instructor
Katie is one of MYTP’s resident Musical Directors and a Montessori Teacher. She has worked as a Director, Camp Director, Musical Director and Teacher in various companies from her hometown of Milton (MYTP, Montessori School of Milton, House of Chords) and in the Kingston area (KYAC). She earned her degree in Music (Hons.) at Queen’s University in 2014 and her MATEC Montessori Certification for both Casa (2020) and Lower Elementary (2023) levels. At MYTP, she teaches private and group voice lessons as well as musical direction for the Theatre Drama Company. Katie has been actively involved with MYTP from its inception, as both a student and instructor. Most of her lifelong friends are from her years of theatre involvement and she credits her love of the stage to this. You can usually find her on stage right at the theatre, putting on microphones and keeping actors on time with their music. When Katie is not at MYTP she teaches Lower Elementary at Stirling Montessori Academy in Milton.

JASMIN GOODE
Director, Entertainment Ensemble
Jasmin is a freelance director and stage manager. She has worked on a variety of productions that range from dance and musicals to fashion shows and special events. She has studied performance production at Ryerson University and has recently returned from a Fringe Theatre Festival tour across Canada as the stage manager with the Flotsam Theatre Company. In the summer of 2014, she took the opportunity to visit Milan, Italy to develop a theatre program at a children’s music camp. As well in the Fall of 2014, she worked with the Terry Fox Foundation as a school ambassador travelling to schools across Ontario to give presentations on behalf of the foundation. Jasmin is always looking for new opportunities to educate students and to help mold well-rounded performers. MYTP is home to Jasmin and she has a lot to thank them for. For one, she is thrilled to be back as she has been playing roles on and off stage with the company since it’s 2nd year of inception.

BROOKE BELVEDERE
Choreographer/Assistant Director/Social Media Manager, Dance Instructor
Brooke is thrilled to be celebrating another season with MYTP! Coming from an Arts family, Brooke grew up in the dance studio (The Dance Pac) and competed for over a decade. Although Brooke didn’t pursue the Arts post-secondary, she remained involved with MYTP and her creative side while completing schooling in Marketing (Sheridan College) and Recreation and Leisure (Canadore College).
Brooke has played various roles throughout the years from; director, assistant director, costume and set designer, stage manager, media manager, and everything in between! You’ll see Brooke in our Main Stage Program (Choreographer and Super Star Instructor), as well as starting up our new programs; MYTP Kidz, Super Star Drama Club, and Musical Theatre Dance.
Brooke is ready to rock season 22!

NICOLE MICHAUD
Musical Director, Vocal Instructor
Nicole has been part of the MYTP family for well over a decade and is thrilled to be part of the creative team! Her journey with MYTP began as a student and has evolved to include roles as an assistant, assistant director, camp director, and musical director. Nicole’s passion for theatre and creativity shines through in every aspect of her life. She graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Education in 2021, and has been working as an elementary teacher ever since. Nicole’s teaching career has taken her around the globe, but she is overjoyed to be back home at MYTP, doing what she loves most. Nicole credits her time at MYTP with some of her best memories and the development of essential skills, which she is eager to pass on to her students at MYTP and beyond.

RACHEL HARRIS
Vocal Instructor, Super Stars, Drama Club
Rachel is so excited to be the instructor for the Jr. Drama Club! She started theatre at the age of 7, and has been hooked ever since. She spent 10 years with M.Y.T.P. as a performer, including 5 years of assisting before she graduated. Her M.Y.T.P. credits include: Alice In Wonderland (Tweedle-Dee), Oliver (Strawberry Seller), The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley (Ensemble), Into The Woods (Mother Goose, Gretel, Cinderella’s Mother), The Jungle Book (Kaa), Big (Mrs. Baskin), Willy Wonka (Mr. Bucket, Mrs. Beauregard), Peter Pan (Wendy), Doctor Dolittle (Pushmi), Mary Poppins (Bert), Shrek (Dragon), Mulan (Lin), Dear Edwina (Kelli), The Little Mermaid (Aquata), High School Musical (Martha), Aladdin (Ensemble) and Frozen (Elsa). Rachel is a graduate of the Music Theatre-Performance program at St. Lawrence College. She is also a recipient of a Bachelor (Hons.) In Performing Arts: Acting from Atlantic Technological University located in Sligo, Ireland. Her post-secondary theatre credits include: Exhibition: A Collective Archive (Featured Soloist), Marry Me A Little (Featured Soloist), Pippin (Player), Red Letter Day (Felicity in the Canadian Premiere), Cabaret (Victor) and Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again (Grandma/Ensemble). Rachel is so looking forward to fostering the love of theatre in her students that she experienced at their age. She can’t wait to help these performers reach their full potential in this fun-filled extended program!

JAMIE BOYES
Co-Choreographer, Dance Instructor
Jamie is thrilled to be joining the MYTP creative crew!
Jamie first joined the MYTP family at age five and has been involved for over ten years, performing in more than twenty productions. Some of her roles include Butterfly in Alice in Wonderland, Alana in The Little Mermaid, Katherine in Newsies, and Mayzie in Seussical.
Outside of the main stage, Jamie trained as a competitive dancer at The Dance Pac and has studied voice both privately and chorally. She is currently attending McMaster University, pursuing a degree in Cognitive Science of Language and History with a minor in Music, with the hopes to get her masters in Speech-Language Pathology.
Jamie is excited to step into this new role with MYTP and hopes to inspire in others the same love of performing that MYTP has instilled in her.
